This here combination is getting more than passing consideration. Looks silly, but the airframe and engine package as you see weigh only a little over 3 pounds so far. It should be possible to have AUW at 5lb or so which will be very manageable. The model is a Ukraine made composite FAI lekkie model, a few years out of date for that purpose. The thing is a work of art. It will be a shame to spray it with castor oil and then belly land it at 40mph. But talk aboot a quick way to make a new putt-putt for June, to replace the defunct Whip project.
