Well Ken, last weekend in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. I ran a
1:37.83 for Fast Time of the event. Most of the guys were running 1:45's, including the guy I lapped for the fast time!
That is 10 laps with a TT PRO 40, APC 9x6 prop and was tach'ed @ 16,500RPM just before the launch. Our 3 Poles are set 608 ft. to the two longest legs, and 100 ft. between the shortest point of the triangle. So I guess the only difference in our times would be that we run 116' longer per lap, or 1,160 ft. for the 10 laps!
Your times should be close to that also, since really we are all flying a paper clip shaped course.
I tried some 2 pole a few years ago, and it seemed like the fastest way around was to run from 1 to 2 as a straight line, and a slight arc down the front straight toward 1.
Have fun with it and practice
all you can if you want to win!
