I've been meaning to post latest speed...42.3...which is the highest yet. I was running 15% nitro with an OS A3 plug. On the same day, I had about 4-5 ounces of 30% left from the last can, so I tried it again with 30% and an OS #8 (cooler for the higher nitro), and speed dropped to 40.9. 40.9 is the highest speed I've seen with the 30%, so I do think the engine is loosening up.
I did not do major tuning when I swapped back to the 30% since I didn't want to mess up my 15% tune for obvious reasons. It's possible the 30% would run better if I spend some more time tuning with it.
FYI...THE BAD NEWS, I lost my hatch cover on the 42.3mph run!! Hit a rough spot, got out of shape and the hatch flew off. It hit the water and floated for about 2-3 minutes and then sank. It had flotation from TT(seen in pics), but it's not enough. When I bought the boat, I threw the hatch in a bathtub and also in my lake and it floated fine...so beware, it needs more flotation!!
