Default RE: HPI Savage Flux VS Traxxas E-Revo Brushless - which is best?

They're both basically the 2 best electric trucks out there, nothing else really comes close - so you won't be disappointed with either.

I have a Savage Flux, and a non brushless E-revo but I've driven a brushless one.

Which one is the best basher?

I'd recommend the Savage for bashing, meatier parts and more solid platform

Which is the best at the dunes (with paddles of course)?

Either should be fine at the dunes with paddles

Which is the best for crusing around the streets?

The Revo platform handles better on-road if you ask me, but the Flux isn't bad

Which is the best racer (not that important, but may happen at some point)?

Probably the Revo, slightly more nimble platform

Which is the most durrable?

I'd choose the Flux for durability for the same reasons I'd choose it for straight bashing.

Do either need upgrades at any time?

Neither have any glaring weaknesses that need to be immediately addressed, upgrade as you see fit.

Which has the longest run times?

They both essentially have the same electronics, Which is the Castle Creations Mamba Monster Max system, your run times will depend mainly on what batteries you use, as well as gearing and driving style
