RE: formula fastech nitro
Hi guys, I just stumbled onto this thread and thought I would put in my .02 . My buddy and I both have one of these boats, they are great. I have only had a few issues so far the pressure nipple broke out from the header and the ez start slips. The extra shim that comes with the boat was the fix for the easy start. And as far as the header I just took it off and welded the hole shut and now I dont run pressure to the tank. We both are running Traxxas 20% and my high speed needle is set at 2 3/4 out. I am running a y535 prop and my buddy has a x435 from octura. We will be out tomorrow and I will see if I can get some video. These boats hall ass for what the are.
