I LOVE flying my MUS too, but as of yet I have only flown it at the airfield. So many fields and parking lots just calling my name too
. All RC flying of any kind has been pretty much banned here in the Denver metro area parks, so they are ready with the fines if you're caught.
Lucky for me, my local airfield is only 5 miles from my house, so I can just go and fly whenever I want. I bought a state parks pass this year, so I don't even have to pay park admission.
I just upgraded my MUS with a Rimfire 35-30-1450 motor, running a 9x6 prop on 3S. With a 2200ma Zippy, I easily get 8 minutes of flight time, and only use around 1300-1600ma. How sticky are they about the RC flying there in Oregon parks?
