nearly all Tamiya on roads use the same plastic gear set up, so i doubt you'll bust them! without meaning to burst your bubble, the TL-01 isnt a racing chassis by any means, its pretty basic as far as touring cars go.
depends whether you want smooth power or adjustable power?
the Mamba Max's/Sidewinder's are very adjustable, but aren't quite as smooth as Novak's, the choice is yours..
