Default Khz VS Mhz

The 20 Khz refers to the spacing betweeen the frequencies, Mhz refers to the frequency. 1991 means is should be legal, The space between frequencies use to be as much as 80 Khz , over the years it was narrowed to 20, This is where Narrow band refers to. All radios must now meet the narrow band standards set in 1991. Yes it should be usable, it wouldn't hurt to have the whole thing sent in for a check up, Do a range check , if it checks fine it is probibly O.K. . The Ant. is a whip ant for Helis, I have never used one in a Airplane but it should work, I have seen guys go way up with Helis using the Whip ant without any problems.
