I also applied the gap-covers on the inboard wings. These are just cut from styrene and glued onto the surface of the wing. The outer panels are not shown below (they are out in the garage because the primer stinks so bad for a couple days) but the gap covers on the inboard panels match up with the covers on the outboard panels so it looks like a single strip. Again, shape, size and placement is based on the accurate miniatures plastic model.
