I found a couple new OS VF DF .25 engines with tuned pipes and thought I would buy one of the Clipped Wing Diamond Dust kits to mount one in.

The engines were mounted but I can find no evidence of them ever being run as the piston and liners show no signs of ever being used.

They both have the 2CB carburetors and DF25 on the rear end of the crankshafts.

I’ve never used a DF engine and could use some instruction on the best way to break them in, propellers, fuel, etc. as well as any help you can give me for setting up the CWDD.

I “think” the pipes are Nelson as I read that the stinger is a little longer than the Macs pipes. They are both 10” long and the stinger is 1.062” long.

The (DDCW) kits are out of stock right now so I’ll have to wait but I’m in no hurry and figured I could bench run them and get to know the engines while I wait.

I’d appreciate any advice…
