The 9CAP is a nice radio I have one and it can be converted to 2.4 with a module and receiver either 7 or 8 ch, I think the 8ch set will cost you about
300.00 which means you will be into the radio for about 450.00 total. IMO I think would go with the Airtronics RD8000 for about 250.00 and its a 8ch.
