Everybody can weld, I taught my daughter (although... most 16 year old girls don't have a lot of use for that skill, but I showed her how). and with decent MIG welders in the $400-$500 range, there's never been a better time. Get some scrap metal and weld some junk together. Once you own a decent welder,
you own it forever. That's a good value. Make something clever for your wife or make wall brackets for your garage. Doesn't have to be something cool. You just need time to get used to it and look for reasons to use it. Once you get a good understanding of it, there's nothing more empowering than "KNOWING" you can make anything.
Making cool bicycles out of junk, yard art, new barbecue, GET OUT THERE AND MAKE SOMETHING!!!!
