I would enjoy seeing what you did with the shims. I think I understand what you did, so if you could post some pics that would be helpful. I've seen some R/C 109's with the landing gear straight up and down making the aircraft more unstable on the ground and looks unrealistic.
I'm assuming your making the wedges along with your supplied shims to give it that slightly spread out angle, like all 108 and 109 landing gears had?
Once Spring hits up here in NY, that's when my hours jump up to 40+. I'm trying to enjoy the slow period much as possible before the train wreck begins. This summer I'll complain that I'll hardly have any time to fly.
