I don't know much about electrics but a sliding canopy would be a neat feature and if you can make it function to cool the motor too that would be great. I will stress that whatever you do try and keep the weight to a minimum. These smaller warbirds are much more pilot friendly and fun to fly if the weight is kept in check.
