RE: Tamiya Subaru Brat Build Thread
What a bummer, RCU just ate my post.
Anyway, what I was saying is this is my favorite RC of all time, and the one that got me into this hobby. I'm a longtime Subaru owner and enthusiast, and the original Tamiya Brat and parts would show up in searches online for real Subaru parts. When I learned that it had been rereleased, I bought one that day, knowing nothing of hobby grade RC aside from big names like Traxxas.
Due to my newbie building and driving skills, my Brat is now a box of parts, but I do hope to get another one soon, I've just been preoccupied with other RCs. This is actually a very interesting build with a lot of cool parts, and is also notable because you actually build the frame rather than just pull a FRP bathtub out of a bag and screw things onto it as with many other kits.
