Default RE: COX 049 Bee mixed parts.

Here's my current favorite among my "mixed parts" Cox inventory. Late 90s Baby Bee with an old single bypass cylinder and piston, Valentine turbo plug head, O'Donnel hot plug, and an .049/.051 timing shim under the cylinder. The intent was to put together a detuned Baby Bee that would not drill my kid into the pitcher's mound when flying C/L on 30 foot lines. It turned out to still be stout enough for basic maneuvers like wing overs and loops but almost tame enough for an 11 year old. Marginal power with the prop on backwards and just the way I wanted it for level training flights. Very nice with a 6/3 for vintage 1/2A C/L fun. BTW, the hot turbo plug was chosen for using low nitro fuel and works nicely since the engine is a bit short on compression and is run a bit on the rich side most of the time.
