RE: Sapac L-39 & T-45 Composite + Hoffman 70 Storm
While checking the entire L-39 after the successful Maiden flight, I remembered that the Castle ICE100
hasthe data logging function and I reviewed the data to find that the ESC was getting extremely hot as I
had not provided any airflow to keep it cool. So, I decided now was the perfect time to re-position the ESC
for proper cooling airflow. All I did was to take the thin EDFhatch cover, reinforce the opening with narrow
strips of 1/8" hardwood, line the hatch cover with 1/8" hardwood, make a cutout for the ESC, tape it to the
hatch cover and attach it to the fuselage with three screws. This should work just fine.
