Sounds like fun, I'll have to try it! I was impressed by the 12x6 but only having 1800Mah LiPos I am running an 11x5.5 to extend the run times. We kind of had a lab session at the field with a watt/volt meter and I found that w/the 12x6 I am pushing everything (ESC , Lipo "C" rating etc) to the MAX! Not quite as radical but I can still pull out vertical if I get into trouble. Which prop were you using before and how does the 10x10 affect run times?
