Status: offline 		Thought you guys might like to see my SMTD (simple metal tool design) for SPADS.

Consists of a 15 inch long piece of 1/8 square tube chrome or brass stock, some acid solder, a utility knife, and a wooden dowel.

Bend the stock about the half way point, to a 20 degree or so curve. Take dremel cut off wheel, and cut the utility blade in half. Lay the razors on either side of the stock, about 2 inches from the front, and clamp in vise. Make sure the tip of the blade is higher than the bottom of the metal stock to prevent cutting the underside of the coroplast. Once clamped and lined up, heat and apply acid solder to the inside of the razor blases and the stock. Don't get solder on the cutting part of the blade.

While that cools, cut a 5 inch chunk of 1/2 dowel, and drill a 3/16 hole in the center. Take the stock, CA it into the handle, and ther you have it. A tool that slips in coro flutes, cuts both sides at once, and stays center. If you built the tool right, it';s fool proof.
