They havn`t fixed the elevator issue, so it still needs 6mm og down to fly level. At least they have been honest and written it in the manual

The plane looks exelent.....The fiberglass is very firm, and feels very strong. Maybe a little heavy, but you cant have both can you :-)

only the outer wing panels are removable.

it looks like I have to glue the aluminium tube into the fuselage-innerwing-and booms........ that means the wing tubes will also stick out.

Ill have to study it further :-)

That would be good enough for me. I would hate to have to align the booms, stab and wing center every time I went out to fly.

I have the older KMP P-38 and all I can say is your version looks great, the retracts were a big problem and yours look great, I like the way they did the flaps on yours, I hope they fixed all the other little problems too!!!

It could be the angle of the picture but it appears that the taper on the wing is wider than it should be on a P-38.
This isn't a criticism of the manufacturer: but from previous web descussions of how nice the plane flies,
this could be the reason.
It kind of looks like a cross between a P-38 and a mustang.
Hey, I'll take a wider wing if it flies better: most pilots wouldn't notice that at the field anyway(especially not in the air)!
P-38's are hard to fly anyway and we'll take any advantage we can get.
(we're out there to have fun)
Looks like there's some nice panel lines on the fuse.

I just realized that the engine center-to-center distance is 30”. No wonder flying is so tricky.

Actually, Bill, one engine out on the KMP P-38 isn't that bad. With all the problems it had it actually flys really well. The biggest problem is trusting the crappy retracts.
