The SBV2 is very very durable. What exaclty are you looking to do with it. You have to remember that this is a buggy not a large truck. The plastic components do have some give to them so that they are less lightly to break. You can get a ton more information if you click this link. http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthre...=126878&page=5 These guys including myself are hardcore racers who have really put it through its paces. (BEAT IT) Some of these guys would hand the controller over to the racetrack owner and let him drive it as well, you'll see that very very few people break these cars. Hope this helps.

Dont worry I wont be driving it off a roof Just driving around my house and small jumps.

How strong is the tranny? Can it handle brushless power?

Thanks

Monkey,

I've been in the same shoes as you. First looking at the Dark Impact but came across this SB V2. Sweet car indeed, but if you plan on upgrading look into the not even released (Feb 07 in the US) SB V2 Pro.

That baby is nice. It costs a little more, but you get a great package.

Dave G, please tell me that the Por will come with a clear body. I'm comfortable with my sexuality and all, but that does not mean I want a pink RC

dedvw: Yes the Pro will be coming with a clear body. There are some closeup pics of the new car on our website in case you havent seen it already.
