Leveling Video Images in Flight
I want to control the attitude of my video camera to counter the roll and pitch of the r/c craft and get level video recordings and FPV flight. I currently have servo control of roll and pitch for the camera using the FMA Co-Pilot, but am not completely satisfied. Would gyro control be a better way to do this? Is there a two axis gyro control available for this?
Thanks for your help and I welcome other alternatives.

RE: Leveling Video Images in Flight
The reason that I ask is that while a gyro won't give you a good constant correction, it is very good at cutting the accelerations at the start of a bank or pitch change. I have used gyros in series with a CoPilot output in the past with great results on the main flight controls of a small plane. My guess is that you would have similar success on the servos aiming the camera.

RE: Leveling Video Images in Flight
Thanks for the reply. I was just wondering if gyro control would be another option in place of the do-pilot. I find it complicated enough without adding the gyro to the co-pilot.
I'll also assume the gyro controls are one axis, not two.
Thanks,
Dick
