Hi Guys. I would like opinions and experience on what a newbie should choose for getting into this awesome part of the hobby. I am planning on doing it in 2 stages. First I would like to just take aerial video with my new GoPro HD camera. Once I get the hang of this I would like to get into the FPV part. I would like to take aerial video but also follow some of my friends aircraft from takeoff, basic circuits then to landing. I think I could do this with non FPV first then FPV later but I would like opinions on whether to start with a tricopter (I can hover a TRex 450 and fly forward a bit) or get some type of aircraft.

Any advice, opinions and/or experience would be greatly appreciated.
