I'm an amateur wildlife photographer and I've decided that a heli-mounted camera with live streming video could be a great tool to find animals to shoot.

I did quite a bit of due dilligence on the Web to figure out what I need, but it's hard to gauge what kind of range one can hope to get with the wi-fi cameras out there. I'm talking outdoors, unobstructed line-of-sight situation.

I was hoping some of the forum members could share their experiences.

Or, is there an alternative (but still affordable) way to get live video from the remote camera?
