gws e-starter wireless video succes!
Hey,
Today I maidend my e-starter!
Flies really slopy for some reason (Probably the CG) but anyways it flies. On the second flight I put on my Spylinker wireless camera.
Result was great!!! I love it!
During the landing the prop broke, but that's acceptable... :-)

Excellent!
Great first video. I am sooooo jealous of the countrysides you guys are showing in your videos. Everything in my videos is brown.
Did you have the rx on a table or up on a mast of some kind?
Want the link added to the Links Page and, if so, do you have a link to a personal page you would rather have used or a link directly to the video?
Keep em coming!

Very nice flying! Excellent! I was wondering how your were going to land with all the water and not much grass to speak of... Again, that was great flying!

Looks and sounds good! I enjoyed it.
Forgive my ignorance, but, what is causing the non-continuous reception? Are those interference of some kind? low bat? or something like that?
Thanks,

I believe it maybe Vsource, interference, antenna polarization, or vibration issues. Interference wouldn't look like that. Typcially, you will see lines racing across in a pattern or other video distortion etc... Transmitters, operating at low signal levels makes it more important to consider the polarization of the both the ground and aerial antennas. Many people use vertical polarization, with both whips vertically. This provides a natural hole in coverage if the bird is directly above you which can cause the video to breakup. It is easy enough to change both of them to horizontal to experiment. Vibration can cause all kinds of problems. Be sure to isolate any electronics from vibs! Out of order... source voltage on the transmitter or receiver can cause the video to breakup if the minimum adequate receiveable signal is reached due to the combo of all the above.
My guess is... antenna polarization. If you are planning to fly directly over head... change the polarization to horizontal and I believe the dropouts will be eliminated.
