Here, I'll start. Here are some of my "learning experiences" with my Aerobird (with not so good video). This shows what an Aerobird can take and keep on flying. Warning, this is broadband only, turn down your audio, it is very hot.

I had problms with your link.

But this one works.

Some of those tree landings almost looked intentional!

Those are great!

Now you need to dub in an "Oh sh*t" in honor of Fubar's videos

Link worked fine for me.
I had two different songs running thru my head as I watched this:
"Pick up the Pieces" and the "George of the Jungle" theme.
I was also putting in the Oh S$#T!s in the proper places! Great video, dude! Hard to believe the plane didnt destroy itself.

I have replaced the wing once and other than some packing tape that's about it. On the first tree landing, the camera came loose. I had to capture the video on my PC and single frame through it to figure out where it went. The battery broke free right after it hit the ground. The camera ended up about 50 feet from the plane! One the second tree landing, the plane stayed parked in the tree for about 12 hours until the following morning. I used a fishing pole and a slingshot to snag the plane and get it out of the tree. The camera transmitted for most of the night. The third tree landing happend on one of my first camera flights. I cut power and tried to turn back towards the field. That is before I figured out that Aerobirds don't turn too well with no power. Live and learn!

WOW, that thing takes a beating! The Duraplane series has nothing on that one!

having had similar experiences with R/C Cars I can't wait to start in on planes. These vids are even better than steve's "good" onboard footage.....i muttered aloud oh s#$%T in my office when I was watching the impending wooden collisions. great stuff. thanks!....will we ever have the pleasure of viewing a water landing? i would like to see the native fish in your area

My first RC experience was when I was a freshman in high-school. My pride and joy was an 1/8 scale racer with a 19 engine. I was racing with a friend and ran right into one of those 55 gallon drums full of concrete used to hold a stop sign at full throttle. All I was able to salvage was the receiver and wheels. Even the engine was toast. The plane has been much more forgiving!
