Would this work?
It is this camera any good? It looks like one of those aiptek things, except alot cheaper

I looked at the specs, but don't have anything to compare it to. It also says that it is 1lb! Is there a way I could wire this into a receiver for power?, how about the taking the picture?

Me too.
I seriously doubt it weighs a pound. That is for shipping purposes when figuring out the postage.
It looks VERY much like the older version of the Aiptek Pencam that I have. Probably weighs a couple of ozs with batteries.
Easiest way to trigger it would be to stick a servo on it so that the servo arm presses the button.

RE: Would this work?
I bought a Vivicam 55 $50 camera for my first foray into AP. Totally wasted. Then I bought a $200 Sony U30 (4.5 ounces) and put in www.rc-cam.com mods. Fabulous: see www.pam-rc.org/Feb28 . Mr.RC-CAM has programmed in exposure leading shutter by 200ms and has auto-shutter mode: once you get to altitude you flick on the camera switch and it starts taking pictures at one every 3 seconds - you have your hands full flying. With 128MB memory stick you can shoot 240 pictures that way for 12 minutes! Weed out the bad ones later.

From the product description:
Perhaps 1 pound was the shipping weight - considering packaging, and that their shipping system probably has a 1 pound minimum in the pricing structure.
Size & Weight (LxHxW): 0.5" X 4.8" x 1", 3.0 oz
