I just put the videos on my site for anyone interested. One in a corsair and the other on a electric plane.

The video from the Wing Dragon was very smooth, do you like this plane over all?

Why is this system so cheap? I was looking at $300 so far[X(]. Is 10mW good? The $300 ones have 200mW, is this right?

10mw is about the highest power you can use without a amateur radio licence. On 2.4ghz it is different than the 1.2ghz systems. You dont need as much power. This is a good entry level system for the money. The wing dragon flew ok, just liked to climb rapidly when power was applied. The speed control was kind of finiky also. On the last video I took, a baseball field light pole came out of no-where and hit my plane, sending it to the ground. Hope I can fix it.

Actually the highest power you can use is about 1mw... If the item does not have an FCC ID on it, then you'd need an amateur license to operate it.

On 2.4ghz it is different than the 1.2ghz systems. You dont need as much power.
Strictly speaking, LOWER frequencies travel farther given the same amount of power. The 2.4ghz equipment tends to transmit farther because the receivers are more sensitive.

This is a good entry level system for the money.
Agreed. The video definitely looked better than the crop of 1.2ghz transmitters I see out there.

On the last video I took, a baseball field light pole came out of no-where and hit my plane, sending it to the ground. Hope I can fix it.
I fly a little T-hawk which just laughs off the lightpoles

Thanks for sharing the videos!
