A bird's Eye View
Hello all,
I am a new forum contributor, but I have read and enjoyed watching everyone's past postings. I have picked up a vast amount of knowledge, tips and ideas.
Here's a little video I created using a Badius ($60 dollar ebay special). The Video system is a cheap CMOS, I am already getting beyond it and looking into a CCD system now.
I am using a Goof Proof Patch Antenna, which has really increased my video range... My only problem is now I need a larger bird so I can see it past a 1000' in elevation from the ground.
Anyway, here it is, I keep them short around 3 megs for quick downloading.

RE: A bird's Eye View
Thanks Vultch,
I moved the camera to point forward, but out a few inches to avoid the prop spin.
I was already to get a flight in this evening, but the winds were a little too much for this plane.
Hopefully can get a flight in tomorrow.
I also built a helmut/antenna contraption to try out.
My wife said she can't wait to see what the neighbors think of my new hat...
I will have to post a pic of it.
