What do i need?
I have a raptor 30 v2. What i would like to do is to mount a camera on it, fly it and record some images for viewing later when i get home. i would like the images to be of good quality and with sound if possible. (by images i do mean video, not stills.) the field i use to fly is about five miles from my house. What equipment would i need to do this? ignoring parts to attach it to the helicopter and a computer or whatever to view the recorded images. does anyone know of a supplier here in the uk or one elsewhere that would deliver to the uk? any ideas on price? this heli mounted camera thing baffles me totally! Just read the posts in this forum and you'll get lots of ideas about what works and what doesn't. That's easier than answering a lot of questions. Most of anything you will ever want to know about aerial video and photography is somewhere on this page or the next one. Good luck.

RE: What do i need?
Yeah, sorry, what i forgot to say was that i have tried that, hence i posted here but i just dont understand it all. i am new even to this rc thing let alone aerial photography!!!! i just need laymans terms, basics. just what i need ie a camera, battery pack, reciever or whatever. i will then go from there to work out specs and a plan of action etc. if someone could just tell me what equipment works for them then that would be good.
Thanks,
Drac

If you are doing aerial photos, you would need a laptop to download them onto. If you are doing aerial video with a transmitter, either a Mini DV or tv/vcr combo that runs off twelve volts is also good.
