Sun, clouds, and sky
Lots of fog and low clouds around the Northwest. I took a drive, and found paradise.

RE: Sun, clouds, and sky
What a great video. I think my eyeballs gained 2 pounds each from all of the eye-candy! Here is a still from my flight on Sunday. I was piloting a Piper Warrior II and my girlfriend took this shot of the Galveston Coastline. I thought it looked like a postcard pic. What do you think?

It was so nice up there.. Being in the fog for days on end, makes one so much more excited about blue sky's.
The Galveston shot is pretty nice.. No fair flying full scale
With all the clouds down below, you knid of get the feeling of being at the ocean..

I wanted RPV too, but the only video camera I had besides my camcroder was a thermal camera. When I saw how nice it was above the clouds, I had to get some pics, so off came the IR to make room for the Olympus D-560.

RE: Sun, clouds, and sky
yea, arm is fine now
The still camera is an olympus D-560 3.2mp. I used that camera on some head to head test's, and it took better pictures IMO than the Optio s40 and S5i. It is knida heavy, but takes real clear photos with good color and not much jpeg noise. I really wanted to fly the S5i, but I sadly returned it.
The video from the truck was an cannon miniDV.

This work shows a significant artistic flair that sets a scene of what's on the ground vs what it looks like while in the air. It makes you feel like you as a viewer the are in the scene and location more than just one flavor of flying. It's like your video in the Idaho Mountains. It presents itself in a way that the viewer gets a feel for the whole place. I like it a lot. More guys need to do work like this OMHO.

I agree with Dan completely! I was taken aback by the mood of the trip to the launch point
just as much as the takeoff and pics, very well done and nice choice of music, it sets the tone well!
