2 new Aerobird Xtreme videos
Managed to get out of town for an afternoon to an area in Kentucky where I could fly and get some video of something a little different than my home flying field. First video is mostly rural scenery with a few passes above a water treatment facility. Second video is from the same area but I decided to launch between a couple trees and climb out over a bean field. Planes a bit squirrely with the camera riding on it during the takeoff so I clipped a tree on the way out; luckily the Xtreme kept going.

RE: 2 new Aerobird Xtreme videos
Thanks Huub, you mentioned in your posting for your video that you had some sort of battery monitoring device in the sky surfer that I presume is to keep up with the voltage level in the li-poly battery. I just started using li-poly in the sky surfer and was wondering what you were using, can you explain it a bit?
thanks!
thanks!

RE: 2 new Aerobird Xtreme videos
Oi Jamie,
The Lipo "guard" I use is the batt signal.
I choose that one because:
-You can use it to monitor/check if a pack is fully loaded.
-After flying not completely empty you can hear by the tones how much is left in the battery pack.
-It monitors low voltage with blinking AND sounds as well.
-You can use it for 2 and 3 cells setup
So hopefully a buy for life
More about it on:

The best I think?
Cheers m8,
Huub[8D]
Edit:
I am gonna change to 35 Mhz transmitter/reciever.
I hope to reach a higher altitude with the sky surfer.
Weather seems to get better here.
I will keep you posted with new vid stuff soon I hope
