Default camera mounting question

I was wondering if my nexstar could handle the weight of a sony handycam. I was thinking about this cause I would like to just press record and fly. its alot easyer that way.

If you want to just hit "record" and fly, the two best cameras I know of that would fit your plane would be either the Mustek DV 4000 or the Nikon 3700.

I don't know what your handycam weight, and what size motor on that nextstar, you will have to get the CG and add or shift the weight around to balance the plane or you could loose plane and cam. Some may modify the cam batteries to a lighter set just for flights, depending what type batteries the cam takes, some of them are heavy, and you want to keep it as light as possible.
