Aiptek question
I read in post here that some (or all) of the Aiptek cameras/camcorders can be controlled directly from a receiver. Can some one filll me in how this works, what you need to order and which models does this work with?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Aiptek question
They are modified with a chip to control the shutter. I don't have specifics readily at hand, but here's one source for info:

RE: Aiptek question
Thanks guys for the info. The local WalMart has the Aiptek 5900 camcorder on sale for $79.00 and I am wondering if it's a good deal.

RE: Aiptek question
actually it's a great deal. I've been looking at them myself 30 frames persecond video and the resolution is very good as well. You can even just glue a servo over the shutter button so it would be pretty simple to operate.
