Ok, this a bit over the top.
The cost of a usable rc altimeter about $100.00
The cost of doing it with a good gps OSD setup about $500.00
You asking the RC Universe posters “How high would you say I was in the image”
Priceless.

Hey SAVS,
Just curious, in your photos showing the poles, is that over at NC State?

SAVS, here are the stadium lights that I was talking about. The ones behind the plate are much taller than the ones outside the outfield. How tall would you say the taller ones are?

Best guess between 100'-120' depending on how far away home plate is from the backstop and how deep it is from the backstop to the actual pole. They need to keep a fly ball in the lights (as much as possible) so the farther the pole is from the field the higher it has to be. The angle of the lights count too to get 120' (up) coverage. That is about 6 stories high. From the look of the complex they spared no expense, who plays there? Don't tell me a high school!

Why not to put your favorite video onto your ipod ? It is easy , I have using Cucusoft iPod Video Converter Suite to put my videos onto my ipod for a long time , it works pretty good , just download it at http://www.oursdownload.com/convert-...Pod-video.html

Oh, I get it,

You mean from 12 feet to 14,000 feet. Yep, I guess you're not wrong then.

SAVS, that is the stadium for the Atlanta Braves minor league called the Rome Braves (www.romebraves.com). So yeah, they have a little bit of money to spend. I estimated those taller poles at 120 ft too. You can see a flyover that I did of that stadium before I got the better quality SAVS camera at [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=3746210]this[/link] link (post #5).

Someone was up late, or was it early? I remember seeing those pictures from your post. 120' would be rather tall for a light pole. It would have to be a tower at that height by some town/county/state code.

Try this simple task and lets see how close we really are.
