Disposable video cameras??
A fellow RC'er bought a couple of those cheap disposable video cameras and put them on his airplane, flew around, landed, then got the video transposed to a DVD. Came out pretty good!! I was surprised at that.
Anyone tried that yet?
Guess they could be held to the wing using velcro?? Use a servo on a vacant channel to push the record button?

RE: Disposable video cameras??
Yes, you could do that.
That's what I did to take pictures, it was not a disposable camera though but should be the same.

RE: Disposable video cameras??
I have had success with unlocking the cameras, reducing the camera from 5 oz to 2 oz and mounting it on an inexpensive Slo-Stick aircraft. The attached pics show my CVS camera at its 2 0z flight weight velcro's to a simple aluminum bracket. Power is either by a separate LiPo cellor from the rc receiver. I built in a 4-pin plug that mates to a USB cable for downloading or to a spare 3-pin RC receiver plug for power. Hope this helps, Joe
