Default aiptek 1.3MB

Just got the aiptek and my computer will not let me install it. I have a laptop with Win XP. I keep getting the "software has not passed windows logo test" message. I click continue anyway, but it still will not work. It will not recognize the new hardware. Any suggestions. Also how do you stop your camera from turning off every 60 seconds when you're flying and taking pictures?
thanks

Can't help with the first question, but #2... take a picture every 45 seconds...
Or get Wild Moose's SMTbackpack (TM) switch.
It replaces the shutter servo, the camera batteries and the sleep mode on the camera.

If your computer has more than one USB port, try a different port.
I had the same problem with my film scanner. Tried for days to get it to work and nothing, tried for months to get help from Minolta and got squat from them. Then one day I tried a different port and it worked, go figure.
