Help identify receiver specs
I recently purchased a system from Future Hobbies. Wade is working very hard to provide a quality product, and I have to say I'm impressed with the systems performance. Unfortunately, the documentation is somewhat lacking. The system I purchased includes the PLL tuned receiver pictured below. Can anyone help me identify the manufacturer?
Specifically, I'm trying to identify the specific voltage requirements for the power supply. I know that many of these receivers incorporate an LM7805 or similar voltage regulator, and it actually runs on 5 volts. The LM7805 is capable or operating at anywhere from 5-18 volts. I have a 4 cell, 14.1v LiPo cell that I would like to use to power this reciever. My options are to wire it directly or incorporate a voltage regulator. Adding another voltage regulator would probably reduce the efficiency, so I really don't want to if its not necessary.
Can anybody point me to a reliable source for a datasheet or other info for this reciever?
Thanks,
Brad
