Sub zero night video

Brrrrrrrrr! Sure is cold out, but it was clear, and with snow on the ground, I thought it might make it an interesting flight.

THAT KICKS A!! You must have a screw loose to be out in -11 degree weather. Us Texans would probably freeze instantly. At least you make good use of your time! The city looks nice at night too. :D

That's cool video (no pun intended).;) I'm still waiting for my cheap as* video camera to show up from China. Video is going to suck, but just want a temporary fix for my desire to see my neighborhood from up high.

You are outta yer friggin mind.
That was totally *****in! I am a So Cal boy, born and bred. -11 degrees is in the same league as the Loch Ness monster or Chupracabra. You hear about it but are pretty sure its just some kind of myth or one of those "No ****, there I was..." stories.
Thats it! Im goin out to wire up my newest system!

... and I'll get some video from the next category three hurricane that blows through South Florida in 2004. :D Of course, someone in Louisiana would have to agree to pick up my airplane.

Well, we never know when the quakes are gonna hit. I dont know about you, but I cant get to the hangar and get a plane fired up in 20 seconds. Especially while pinballing off every wall between here and there. The Northridge quake is the reason I got rid of my waterbed.
Now, possibly I can get some footage next fall of the annual firestorms... THERMALS!

I'm glad you all liked it.

Its a real heat wave today +5° F and snowing! :D

A couple things to note:
1. The foam didn't get brittle
2. The poly cells were fine (16 minute flight, and I only landed because I was freezing my a** off).
3. No icing on the plane or the lense.

I'm working on an Extra 300s video, but I have to ask.....How the H**l did you see your plane in that darkness....

Eat alot of carrots do you :D

RE: Sub zero night video

Allot of the time you can not see the plane at all....
I keep a broken prop from that plane in my pocket and with that, I am able to use my psychic abilities for control, channeling my vision across time and space.

The headset helps out a bunch too.:D

Lvspark,,
I guess these goggles are merely a projection of your laptop screen ? Or is there any stereo system fitted ?

RE: Sub zero night video

My I-glasses are wired for composite video ( yellow RCA jack ) I could do the aircrafts audio to the speakers, but I have the audio channel wired for other uses.
