advice on a FPV
 

I think I have found an affordable start to FPV but as I have never tried or bought any of this equipment before I thought I would ask some of you here that have for some input. The system I am looking at is from HobbyKing. The product number is CP100024RX12T and is a 2.4GHZ 1000 mW Tx & Rx and 1/3 inch ccd camera. By what I can understand so far I think my Electra glider should be able to tote it after I have gone to a brushless and lipo power ststem. The weight of the Tx system says to be about 30 grams. Although I would eventually probably want to fly or land by the transmitted inage, right now I just want to be able to have it transmitted to a screen so that the guys at the field and my dad can get a veiw from the air live. Is this system something that would be adaptable to a 2 meter sailplane?

Yes, it is. As long as you have the space in your plane and it can handle the extra weight, you will be fine. You could fly your plane with a dummy weight to try first.
