which way to go with thrust??
Hi folks,
I feel rather embarrassed asking this question but I just finished scratch building my Taylorcraft and on my maiden I observed that when I'm flying on low throttle settings the plane flies nice and straight. Soon as I add more power, which increases the speed, it wants to nose dive. I'm thinking the wing incidences must be OK and all I have to do, is to adjust engine thrust line. Now, for me this is a tricky bit. Do I put upthrust or downthrust?

RE: which way to go with thrust??
Thanks for the input guys, I put couple of washers behind the lower enginge mount to create a little upthrust ( my guess, about 1degree). I double checked the CG and it's spot on. So.. just gotta fly now and see what happens. I let you know how it went.
