That will not weaken the firewall enough to be concerned about. We have many customers using this motor with great results.

I forget what size stand offs I used ,but all I had to do was notch the firewall a bit to get at my high / low needles.

have on order 45mm stand offs from gashanger the 6omm are to long with the dle 30 for this plane so i will cut a bigger hole in fire wall so the carb is 15mm in the fire wall thats the only change to do+a small hole in fire wall to ajust high-low end on carb i have a 26 evolution in my global mx2-30 not bad but the dle 30 is more powerful 3.7hp so i will try the dle 30.in my yak hope i am doing the right thing

26 gx evolution is 3.8 hp. max rpm is 9.500 so they say with easy fit glow mounts no making holes in the fire wall plus front carb so easy to put choke on bye hand dle 30 is 3.7 hp. max rpm 8.500 so they say. rear carb stand offs to long 60mm you will need 45mm you will have to cut holes in fire wall for carb plus high end low end and thottle servo in wrong place a lot more work with the dle 30 but it is less money to buy. this is a hard what one do you bye ?

Wish I went with the JC 28cc and not the MLD 28cc.
