Default DLE20 questions

Just put a DLE20 in a AW 300Extra and like a glow engines after you are done flying for the day you run the engine out of gas,is it the same for gas engines?
Also with glow engines you have to have acsess to your needle vavle if you have a cowl,on gas engines do you have to adjust the needle vavles every time you fly?

Thanks

Not needed.

No, adjust the HS & LS properly initially, then other times ONLY when you change props,
mix ratios, and such.

There's two, [.pdf] files in this msg, about how to tune;

Further support info on the DLE20cc gas engine can be found at the bottom of this msg......

No need to run it dry of fuel, and you just need access to the needles to adjust it when first tuning or maybe after break-in. That's why you will fall in love with the gas engines, not to mention the cost of fuel, gas vs. glow per gallon. Hope this helps.
