Officerp,
There are to metal prongs sticking out of one side of the regulator, these are used to adjust the voltage. You have to use a piece of metal to connect the 2 prongs, a flat head screw driver works best for this. Once the prongs are connected it will raise or lower the voltage, momentarily releasing the screw driver from the two prongs will make the voltage go up, and doing it again will make it go down.
You will also want to have a voltage meter connected to the output side of the regulator to monitor the voltage as it changes.
