Default 50cc Extra 300

I just received my first AW 50cc Extra 300. The pre-hinging is too tight on the wings and elevator. The ailerons on one wing will not be able to achieve 3D throws and one elevator will not achieve the suggested high rate. Max throw on one elevator will be 11/4 inch before binding, two inches are recommended.

I give you guys an atta boy at the way the plane was packaged. The layer of particle board surrounding the wings was nice...too bad Fed Ex found a way too penetrate it. The pics show a hole through two boxes and the wood inside. No major damage to the wing but there is some cracked sheeting at the point of impact.

I can repair the sheeting but I'm not sure what to do about achieving the recommended throws.

I just read the manual and I'll try heating the hinges to get them to deflect.

Hello,

Yes, using a heat gun and applying heat to the hinges while deflecting the surface to the desired throw works really well. If you have any problems or questions please give us a call and our tech department will be happy to help.

Thank You

Thanks. The quality of this plane is top notch. I purchased the CF gear for it but I was told that the CF wing tubes were out of stock. When do you expect to receive more CF wing tubes?

Thanks again!
