This is the first prototype we will start doing the manuel when we return from toledo so it will be a few months. The price has not been officually set but we expect it to be around 1049-1095 this will now include a throw meter and a second tank for somke if you choose to use it.

Mark,

This is the one I've been waiting for. Any idea when this plane will be available? Fall 2006?

Here are a few pics of the included custome desighned throw meter, this will come with all of the future Aeroworks planes including all of the yaks and all of the 260's. We will also provide two tanks one for fuel and one for smoke if you chose to use it along with all of the fuel line and hardware. There will also be clear covering provided to seal the gaps and best of all SAE hardware included.

WOW!!....that yak is impressive!! I can't wait to graduate up to something this size. I am having a good time as of right now switching up to the "hanger 9 showtime" , but my heart is set on getting a larger plane this summer , and the Yak 54 is at the top of the list. That is a great looking plane mark , keep up the great work!!

Thanks for the nice words and enjoy that showtime they fly prety good. Don't know if you saw this but it would be a good replacement for that showtime when the time comes. [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4099610/tm.htm]69" yak[/link]

We are still assembling the Yak we are doing the manuel on this one and that takes a lot of time. We hope to have it flying in about a month. I will let all of you know when she goes up and how it went.

hey mark........any word on when this bird might make it into production? Just curious. I had my mind set on the 75cc areo-works yak at the end of the summer , but i might just go for the 100cc instead! keep wanting to go bigger..hehehehe!!!

Here are a few pics of the finished plane we hope to fly her this week if all goes well. Also just an update as to some of the other included built in items: Drop in can install with the former/holder installed in F1, silicone holders for the cans, throw meter, smoke tank with plumbing, clear ultracote and more.

I saw it at their shop and, from what I saw, it had 5945's all the way around with two per aileron and two for the rudder. No matchboxes, a single 4800 Fromeco on the RX and a 2400 for ignition with MPI switches for both. They are running the "fatty" mtw75 cannisters on this one and a DA 100 with a TT spinner and wood prop. Rocco says it's 27.5 pounds, thereabouts. It was also interesting to note that the cannisters actually hurt performance, so if you can get away with stock mufflers, you'd be a pound lighter and have more power. I am not suprised by this - I have never seen the recommended cannisters give a gain in RPM.

Mark are you guys going to offer the red or blue color schemes along with the yellow? I would like to get a red one, since I have the blue 50cc and a red 35% 260 on order.
