I would use nothing less than 5945's if you plan on doing 3D.

Well you guys will be glad to know i am useing 5945`s ,but i have been flying my hangar9 sukhoi for a year with 5625`s with no trouble at all. And a buddy of mine has the most insane hangar9 cap with 5625`s in it and thay are fine you can beat the sh*t out of both of them and not worry at all.

Oh my sukhoi has a 3W100 AND not a bit of flutter
The CAP has the 3W 106 that has the devil in it its insane and again NO flutter...

Those planes are also considerably smaller than this plane and (hopefully) lighter.

I use JR 8611A on Aileron, Elev, Rudder, and Throttle.... I take no chances with my stuff, trying to be cheap and use the 56XX is just asking for it IMO...say what you want, but I have learned my lesson a long time ago...the 59XX is a great servo as is the new 5955's...

There is more to a servo besides torque. The 56XX series servos have been known to have a weak gear train and that is why they are not popular with giant scale.

Im thinking that they will have the 260's in the 50cc size, the Yaks in the 75cc and 100cc then again the 260's in a different color...This is just an edumacated guess...

I would ask Aero Works...

I'm in, Red 260 100cc thats what I,m talking about. As for servos 5955TG full house with no regrets. DA 100 with cans is what I,m going to run. I think I will sitck my BME 110 in my 33% Bob Dively Pitts S2 That I,m building. It will balance out pretty good in that airframe its light and short fuse make for the perfect airframe for the BME 110.

I'm using 8611A's on everything except throttle and don't have any problems at all. I love the aircraft. Never had a better airplane. IMO, if you're gonna get a $1000 airplane, why not do it right and make sure you don't skimp on anything at all?

Default RE: Servo`s for 260?

I have 8611s all around except for throttle which is a 8231. My TX is a 10X.

Now get this. The servos/TX/plane's control surfaces are so "tight" that I had to re-learn how to do a snap roll!! Why you ask? It is because I USED to bang the sticks in one corner or the other and then just lift my thumbs off of the sticks. The sticks would do that "twang" thing, vibrate back and forth slightly. Well, the 260 would faithfully follow those sticks!! That following would look like the plane was vibrating - it was amazing!! I had to learn to gently let the "corner" pressure return to neutral then the snaps looked pretty good.

I have never had a plane that would come even close to the above situation!! At 28.5 lbs my 260 flys like a feather. I let a youngster who does foamy 3D flyi my 260 while I exchanged my sunglasses for my regular glasses and I heard the peanut gallery whooping and holloring and I about croaked when I saw my 260 hovering and doing all of that foamy 3D stuff!!!! I had told the boy not to do anytning full throttle and he wasn't!! I actually enjoyed watching him fly that stuff!!

Anyway, good job Aeroworks. BTW, is there any plan of doing another color besides red? I kind of like the yellow/blue/white and would like it even better if the yellow were darker (like cub yellow)!!!! What say ye?

Bobby
