Maidened New 50cc Yak Today
Built a second Yak,
To replace the first one. Maiden went perfect!! (no suprise here) as these kits are the shizzle I set this one up for IMAC, C/G set exactly where recommended and man, the Yak flys SO MUCH smoother at this forward C/G. My first one was set 3/4" behind the recommended and was fun to fly 3D stuff but a handfull to fly, and especially the landing. This new one is the polar opposite. It practicly lands itself, and is SO SMOOTH in flight.
Should be a lot of fun in IMAC
Setup is pretty standard,
Stock Aeroworks kit, stock DA-50, XOAR 23X8 prop, Fromeco batts. regs. and switchs, Slimline Pitts muffler, All JR avionics........
Thanks Aeroworks crew for the hookup and help, the new Yak is a keeper
