42% Extra header drop correction in the manual
I just finished installing Greves in my 42% 260. I purchased the 50mm drop headers that are recommended in the manual. While I was able to make them work for the Greves pipes, they will not work for the cans. I looked in here for an addendum for this, but I couldn't find one.
So for anyone looking to install pipes or cans in this plane, the correct header drop appears to be 70mm, not 50mm. If you use 50mm for the Greves, be prepared to do some hacking on some pretty structural members of the fuse, particularly where the pipes exit. 80mm headers result in an overall shorter exhaust length, and the tips of the pipe won't interfere with the subformer and cross bracing in that area...
