After futher review, I think I like the yellow scheme better, I'm not into the stars otherwise I really like it. Maybe I could remove them?

RE: Yaks in stock!!!!
Love what AW did with this model!!!.Are all the color schemes also available in the New Yak 54 .60-.90 size? Can I use a zenoah G20ei or the evolution 26GX (1.6) Gas Engine on this plane?

RE: Yaks in stock!!!!
I just ordered the 100cc Yak in the old yellow scheme, I was hoping for it to come out in the red and white 85cc scheme, but I need to get one now or it will cost me more money. The Cdn dollar is down to .79 US so if I wait any longer the price at Great Hobbies is bound to go up. They have one in stock down in Edmonton so I will be going down next Friday to pick it up. I am going to power it with the new Area 102cc engine. Can't wait for next spring as it is looking to be a fun year. I have the Python with a MT57 that I am going to build sometime this winter too. Woo hoo!!

Picked up my Yak today. It was a 600 mile round trip to drive down and get it. Unpacked it to check it out and the only thing I can find is some minor chipping at the rear edge of the cowl that I'm not concerned about and the plywood ring around the rear of the cowl is split in one spot. Nothing that can't easily be fixed. The only wrinkles I can find are around the base of the fin on the fuselage that can be ironed out no problem. Man is this a beauty of a model!!! I am going to have some fun flying next summer.

RE: Yaks in stock!!!!
Hello
I just got an 85cc Yak and I must say it is impressive! I would like to as what you think I should do with the cowl.
I am installing (or hope to) a Brison 4.8 twin and am concerned about cutting up the cowl for cooling. I guess cutting the black parts in front of the cylinders would be the thing to do. What would you recommend for the air outlet size?
Thanks

Assembled the Yak for the first time to check the balance before finalizing the radio installation. The balance came out right on the money. Had fun trying to find room in the basement to do it.

It is sometimes deceiving how big these planes are until you try to move them around inside the house! I have enough trouble finding room to work on my 50cc plane, but I feel the need to buy one of Aeroworks new 100cc Edges - look out!
Your Yak looks great - I still enjoy my 1.20 size - never lets me down.
